How This Giveaway Will Work

#1. Gift Information:
In an effort to make sure this giveaway is different and top-notch, all gifts are required to be either brand new or a product of yours that is currently selling. Also, each gift must be related to internet marketing/online business.
Your gift must be either
new OR currently selling (it doesn't have to be both). To be more specific, here's what I mean...
New: It must be your own product that is new, being either made just for this giveaway (or to be first released for this giveaway), or have been completed within the past month or so.
Please don't simply "update" an older product by adding a paragraph of text. You can submit an updated product to be new, but please make sure it is substantially updated/reworked.
Currently Selling: It must be for sale somewhere online and people are currently purchasing it (please no products that are technically "for sale" but haven't made a sale in a while or ever).
I hope you can understand why I wanted to explain in detail. I want this giveaway to be a true quality giveaway, and by stating
specifically what is needed, we will avoid the pitfalls that many of the other big giveaways usually fall into.

#2. One-Time-Offer and Upsell:
Gaining more subscribers from a quality giveaway is a good thing, right? But if you can also make some extra cash doing so, that's even better!
So that's why I came up with the idea to offer a unique contributor-made package which will first be made available to those who join this giveaway.
It will be a low cost OTO (around $10) that will be shown to the subscribers soon after they join, along with an immediate upsell.
Here's how it will work...
All contributors who want to take part in this product will be interviewed and the recorded audios (and possible transcripts) will be combined to create this OTO product.
The interview will be a Question and Answer style with questions pertaining to general internet marketing and the contributors knowledge base.
Doug Champigny has agreed to be the interviewer.
The upsell will most likely offer a resell license to the initial OTO at a price of around $20.
Contributors will receive 75% on all sales made through their link.

Main Giveaway Squeeze Page: Sorry, it's not available yet. It will simply tell them briefly about the giveaway, who's taking part (you?), the gifts available, and why they should join.
Thank You Page: This is the page that subscribers will see as soon as they hit the sign-up button on the main page, step 1 of 3.
On this page there will be a list of all contributors Twitter and Facebook profile links to follow.
Confirmation Page: This is step 2 of 3.
This page will explain the email confirmation process.
OTO Page: This is the one-time-offer where a low cost package will be offered, around $10.
OTO Upsell Page: This is the OTO upsell, it will be around $20.
Access Gift Page: You can see on that page what information about the gift will be included, as well as stating if the gift is either new or currently selling.
#4. Rules (Just to make sure I've said it)
In order to keep this fair for everyone involved, there are a few rules that contributors must follow.
- All contributors must promote this giveaway using the link I will give to them.
- If a contributor's link has not received substantial traffic (more than a few) on or before April 27, 2011, their gift will be removed from the giveaway event.
- No spamming, unethical, or illegal promotion methods will be accepted.
- No paid-to-click, paid-to-signup, or purchasing of signups is allowed.
- You may use paid advertising if you wish to promote this giveaway event, but please contact me first before doing so. What it will come down to is if the traffic is quality traffic or not.
Paid solo ads to individual double-optin lists or Google Adwords traffic should be ok.
- You may promote to your Twitter and Facebook lists.
